I'm sure there is a cover for the BB area but my used frame didn't come with it. Haven't been super pressed about finding the piece yet.

Chainrings are Cannondale MKV

What does that have to do with a big descent?

Isn't the requirement like 2mm of clearance? This is at least 4mm. Are we looking at different things?!

And that's a freaking 30mm tire! On a rim brake road bike! I'm still not even sure it's going to be necessary (or enjoyable)!
Very nice looking bike.
One question, isn't there a rubber grommet to close the hole in the bb?
If it's like my Allied, there's a big plug that fits in there when using mechanical ders. A simple piece of helicopter tape should close it up and prevent heavy dust from gathering.

Wow selling it so soon, I did not see that coming, looks to be a great all around bike !

Is this the frame off the Pace Line ? It looked to be a good deal, I almost grabed it.

Change of priorities so this one needs to go. This bike is shockingly comfortable and has easily cleared 30mm tubulars. Weight is 5.5 kg as pictured.

54cm frame
Dura Ace 9150 group w/ bar end junction and Bluetooth junction
THM M3 compact crank with Cannondale MKV rings
FSE 35 tubular rims laced to Carbon-ti hubs (custom built for me by Fairwheel Bikes)
Veloflex Arenberg tires
SRAM Red 11/25 cassette
3T Superergo LTD handlebars (40cm)
Pro PLT stem (120mm)
Ritchey Superlogic seatpost
Berk List saddle (132mm)
EE brakes
No pedals or bottle cages included in price

There are some marks from use on the bike. Most notable is a scuff on the end of the left crank arm and there is damage near the seatpost clamp from someone trying to extract the bolt too far. Still works fine and has been ridden like this for over a year. Photos of blemishes will be posted later in the week.

$5000 for the complete bike. Contact me to discuss pricing if you want only part of the build or just frameset

Actual width is 28mm at the brake track I believe. The FSE are just over 26mm which I find to be close enough going up in size.
Do you think there wouldn't be any issue with a wider rim? Say 32mm wide? Photos suggest good clearance on the 28mm.

Did you mean to say 32mm wide RIM? Is that even a thing?

What was the clearance like at the seat tube? This makes me want to see if 30mm tubs will fit my Allez on my C60s.

Probably 4-5mm or clearance at the seat tube. You can get a decent idea from the first post. ST clearance is definitely the limiter on my Wilier - there's like less than a mm clearance when I stuff these wheels on :(

4-5mm is plenty :) One last Q, What height from the top of the rim/brake track do the 30s measure above the C40s? I assume they're pretty spot on to 30mm wide?

Was wondering about these:
https://www.lightbicycle.com/700C-tubel ... bikes.html

I think the "stock" black inc wheels they sell it with are 27/28mm. Edit: 26.5 outer width, 27mm aero width. I assume that outer = brake track in this case.

I've got a disc O2 hopefully arriving today but would hate to buy wheels and then find they don't fit. Already had issues on an old R3 with clearance so I'll probably be conservative in my choices.

Edit 2: looks like they might be gravel wheels, despite being in the Road section. 25mm internal sounds massive. Think I'll stick with something else.
