Guys, I’m sorry for create the 100000th topic about bike comparison but didn’t find anything related so far.

I’m at the point to decide which bike I’ll take. I’ve reading and reading about the frames I’ve selected for more than a month and the decision ends between Pinarello F8 vs. Cannondale Supersix Evo.

The Italian frame is a 52’ and it is equipped with Ultegra 8000 and it’s 4 years old. The American frame has Campagnolo Super Record and is a 2017 one size 52.

I had a CAAD 9 for 2 years now and like the bike. But I never fit exactly on the bike because it was a 54’ frame.

So I want to know which is the pros and cons about both frames, if possible. I know that you’ll recommend I take both and demo, and I’ll do it, but I want to know from your personal experience what you feel and know about these bikes.

Thanks.

It’s most flatly, of course there is some climbs but not more than 10-20% the paths around here.

Having owned both, they're both good bikes. Buy whatever you think looks cooler.

Both are good.
But IMHO the F8 has a more distinctive personality (look and ride).
Many however complain about the harshness of the F8. So if you have back problems take the Dale.

Thanks, guys! You’re helpful!

Red alert, guys. I’ve asked about the serial number and some invoice paperwork to check the its authenticity he told me that “i bought it 2 years ago from Sponsoring women Team in belgium”. I also looked at the internet but and found that the SN of other F8s doesn’t have the same pattern of this one.

I was planning to go and demo the bike, but after all I think it should be a big trap. Also, the guy are asking just €2000 for complete bike.

Any thoughts?

I would check that serial number with Pinarello. I might be wrong but my understanding is that genuine F8s have theirs set into the paintwork, accompanied by a bar code and oriented differently from the one shown in the picture i.e. it should be in front of the cable guide. This frame could be a replica.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’ve found. Even the pattern is different because te real one start with number and letter and are longer than this one.

Love my F8 so far, and I was a bit concered it might be on the harsh side as some say it can be and others say its not.

Its not a harsh ride at all to me and I ride crap roads, but much has to do with wheel, tire and PSI set up.

Same for me.
I rode my F10 on a 225km (140 miles) ride 2 weeks ago and I didn't feel it harsh at all also.
