Super record 12 brakes

Just fitted these and christ there is not much clearance on these compared to super record 11running 25mm conti tubular.

Looks really tight. Do you have any photo with the previous brakes for comparison? It looks like the fork doesn't have much clearance either and those brakes don't take a lot further away... Anyway, file is your friend. ;-)

I have 11 speed on my master and they seem to be more arched,what i will say is that the 12 speed version are more like straight across :noidea:

Yes it seems so, this way they're more sensitive to the placement of the mount point on the fork/frame. If it had been just slightly higher...
I've got those new direct mount ones and they give plenty of clearance. Only a little is being taken away by them.

Just been looking now and it seems that i need to get a thinner washer for the outside of the brake block,you know the one concave.
If i can get some it will take the block away a little further.

If your the person that likes to have there pads a long way off the rim you cant as the tyre will rub,so you need to be right on the rim almost and then theres not much play.

No i dont think so they are the bora ultra 50

:( yeah they have about 1mm less vertical clearance than the previous version, so I really feel cheated by Campys marketing. On the plus side I like the looks and decided I don't like more than 25mm on the front anyway. Currently on Bora with 25 front, clerance is good; 27 on the back, lots-lots of space. The way the frame/fork are built are the most important things, not the brakes themselves. Sorry for bad pics, on a hurry and bike hung in storage.

Looks good now.
Mine are really tight on an dogma f8 so what i have tried is take the concave washer out and hey ho i can get more clearance,so what i need to do is get a thinner washer or can i just use a flat washer?

It seems like we are in a transition period. People want to run 25mm or 28mm tires on wider rims these days. Who publishes the spec on how high a brake bridge should be? Is it the frame maker or the brake maker who should accomodate this?
