I have a pair of Campagnolo C Record Delta brake calipers that have sat in my garage unused for years and are wanting to bring them back into use.

I'm thinking about putting them on a 2002 Colnago C40, it currently has a 2006 Chorus groupset fitted so will the Delta calipers be compatible with the Ergopower levers?

Thanks.

If no one else answers this one give me a couple of days and I'll get my brakes wired up to test it. They better work as I'm putting my deltas back on my old steel refurb with some 2015 model year Athena ergolevers! Just need to put the cables in and tighten it up which I'll do tomorrow or Saturday

I'd say probably yes it will be fine.

You have 3-pivot or 5-pivot?

Remember pad distance is greater than you'd see with caliper brakes.

If they are original pads = probably hard and need replacing.

Just done that now and yes they'll work fine. I think I read there can be issues with brakes and the levers not being able to pull enough but never had any problems when using Campagnolo bits. Maybe there are more problems when mixing components. There are far more problems with making sure the rear mech will match the ergolever especially pre and post 2015 Campag

Thanks for the answers, good to know it should be ok. Worth a try anyway.

I've just got the calipers out of the garage and they're actually Croce D'aune not C Record. Had both back in the day but looks like I strangely only kept these ones. They are 5 pivot and yes the blocks certainly need replacing.

Mine are last gen 5-pivot hooked up to Modolo Kronos levers. Work just fine.

I ended up using some modern pad holders just for the convenience of available pads.

Kool stop is making pads for these now, keep the padholders. 35 buck on ebay and very nice. I have a set on a 96 technos with ergopower, but the cable pull should be consistent with 10 spd carbon levers. Now that 3.5 mm wrenches are no longer unicorns, setting them up is only mildly frustrating. And yeah, they like a little space between pad and rim.
