Not normally a fan of Aero rims, but with the Deep profiles of the S2 they absolutely fit in perfectly!!!

Thank you sir. I kinda think of it as my ultimate form of road racing weaponry. Calling it a "proper Tarmac Weapon" seems appropriate. :) The 404s do fit perfectly. My shallower 45mm deep Spinergys look not deep enough. I'd actually like to try an 808 on the back.

Brother from a different mother. You are not done until you do something about those brakes and the cable housings. THEN YOU CAN SAY YOU ARE DONE! You know what I am talking about.

IDK man. I did some calculations. The 25mm rear tire added 24g, and the new crank 3g. The new rings dropped 5g. So should I try to get sub 13lbs again, or make it more useful and ultimate aero. I am thinking of going with the TriRig brakes once again, and possibly a power meter, and forgetting about sub 13lbs.

I am over the SUB 13 goal as well. I am the lightest most aero SLC there is which I think I am close to now. You can have the lightest most aero S2 there is. lol

ProfessorChaos wrote:Thank you. I love the Vuka Sprint bars actually. They are a great addition to any road bike. Especially an aero road bike. They are stiff, comfortable, appear to be very aero, and look awesome. The only draw backs are if you hit your knees on the trailing edge by accident, it isn't very pleasant. Other than that I have no complaints. The SCSL stem is a brilliant piece of stiffness too. I could of gone much lighter on the stem, but I chose stiffness, and went with the SCSL.

thanks for the great reply. probably going to end up buying these bars. again, great looking bike.
pedal damn it.

I really like this build a lot...

And, really, you should go on a ride with BManX if that's ever possible. It's like you've got twin aero-light bikes with custom Berk saddleposts.

One day I would love to be able to head out for a ride with Bart. I think it would be great. Actually there are a lot of people on WW that I would love to go out for a ride with.

Thank you. I love this bike, and yes BMANX is my Canadian brother from another mother.

For sure. I am buying a passport this year so I can return to Canada soon. I haven't been there in a few years. A British Columbia ski trip has always been on my bucket list, I bet riding there in the summer is grand as well.
