Man I didn't realize the rotor crank was that light, I just always figured it was closer to 700 grams!
It's rock solid

I've got one on my 2011 R5 green machine

Yes, it doesn't makes sense to spend $1000 more to get a lighter frame, when you could spend $100 more to save the same weight in the handlebars and similarly but to a lesser extent in the other components. Unless you're planning to upgrade them all that is.

Unless, of course, the OP wanted a bike that if he happened to bin it there would be little or no concern about if the bars were busted? Given he, apparently, races.
To the OP - I'd like to either see this bike built and ridden or you stop with the threads about it. As the previous episodes of introducing it only to drum up support for the sale of it (which I see is now not happening?) is not what this place is about.

It's a compact crankset. Maybe that's why it's much lighter than you thought? I normally run a 52t at the most because of my bad knee.
