I'm not so shure its an april fools...have close look at the lever and mech.
I'm shure shimano has thought of this years ago and i think EPS i ready for this now with the onboard eprom.

The pictures are definitely photoshopped. The tone and shading of the buttons and indicators don't match the rest of image. Even if it were true, shimano wouldn't have such a 'finished' prototype at this stage. Also, the linguistics of the interview in the article don't make sense.

April fools. :lol:

But i still think EPS has a trick up it's sleeve.
