Just picked up a MTB for the winter. I haven't been mountain biking since I was younger. I have been out a few times since I got the bike and am having a great time. It's totally different from road riding and will probably improve my road riding a lot. I look forward to getting out more often.

To the bike - It is a Cannondale Flash Carbon 29er 3. It is completely stock except that I have the wheels running a tubeless setup. It's a XL size frame. The total weight is 10.46kg or 23.06lbs. I don't have plans to upgrade the bike at all until I get more comfortable out on the trails. Here are some pictures:

Really nice, just needs a set of cranks to match the cranks on your other rides.... Bring on the SISL

It's going to be a Hollowgram or a set of Stan's Crest rims with some new hubs. I need to figure out what hubs I'd like to use though.

Wow......nice bike.....longest seat post I've ever seen though.....don't get on the front brakes too hard...you'll be over the bars..... :mrgreen:
