Rob mentioned that the kind of detail that I was looking for would be impossible for a powder coat job. In the interest of durability, I decided to revise it and go with a powder coat instead of wet painting. I think having a simple design befits CX too.
I'll do my best to get any specific pics people want once the bike is in hand, but I haven't received it yet. Rob should have more pictures for us soon.
Thanks for the interest in my bike, and more importantly, Rob's work. He's truly great to work with. The bike has shipped today (Oregon -> Massachusetts.) I will post finished pics later today. KWalker is correct (as usual.) The fork, brakes, stem, and bars are all moving on the same plane so the braking should work well. As far as I know, this is the only stem set up this way. Anyone know if this has been done before?
