I think Argon 18 is one of those sleeper bike companies. Possibly in 2011 after I race my current tt bike this year I would love to get a E-112. Yes I know the E-114 is more are but it really looks to funky and the time savings is really small if at all real.

It looks like an '07 Krypton.
They made carbon Krypton's at least as far back as 2006.
In 2009 they made the Krypton monocoque, before that it was lugged.

I like some of those older Argon's.
Their lineup has simplified over the years, too many models before imho.

The first Carbon Krypton were made in 2005. Then, they used the same molds as the Platinum, like you said.
It now has the same mold as the former Gallium S3.

I think it is a '07 - not quite sure, but it would be a resonnable guess.

Glad to see, other people share my fetish for the brand. When I sold the Mercury I almost regretted it, and was in search for another Argon for a long time. Suddenly the Krypton came up, and I managed to get a great deal on it. I love that frame, it is stiff, very responsible and fairly light (bike is around 7.5 - I haven't gone totally WW on 'er) and I am pretty much satisfied with the look and performance.

How is the mix of DA 7800 and Sram Red working?
The weight of the bike is with your lighter wheels I presume... What tires are you riding on?
