Wrong metric... this one equates a heavy, expensive part with a light, cheap one. An RD that weighed 1kg and sold for $890 would score the same as DA
You want weight SAVED/$, so you need to start with a reference point like DA or Ultegra...

Well I am very happy that I did not have to pay $300 for my Sram Red and I am glad that it did not come in at 153 as posted.

$216 for the Red Derailleur and 145g stock.

My Red RD was 145 stock also. Maybe if you pay more you get more

Here is my 122g Sram Red RD. I am getting a new part built at work in the machine shop but I think I might only get it down to 121g.

style points to djconnel for using "mass" instead of "weight". You made this physics geek smile.

I posted this in another thread already, but here's my 122g SRAM Red rear derailleur. About the same weight as the LW, but much less expensive:

A similar job can be done with a Force RD. Here is one that Boonen (from w.w's and FWB forum) did for a friend of his....119g.

Hi guys.

Anyone know this RD support 11 speed ? :noidea:

Some company said it support up to 10 speed only.

But Lightweight claim it 11 speed compatible.
