A big name enters the bike computer scene, I'm very excited as I much prefer my coros watch to garmin

That big solar panel looks awkward and the dial on the side seems like a poorly thought out interface on a bicycle.

It's bold if nothing else!

More competition in the market is always good.

The knob is controversial on watches but I really love mine. This one looks weird because it's big, wish it was more like a computer mouse clickable scroll wheel sideways but I really don't like that solar pannel. The device has a great size otherwise but a third of it being used on a gimmick sucks. I understand battery life is a huge selling point for their watches but that just seems excessive and probably puts an end to any hopes of the device being sub 350usd

I agree it's not a looker but name me a good looking bike computer! Especially when they get large they're all ugly IMO

A well implemented knob could be much better than a touchscreen, let's wait and see if it's more than a gimmick.

Coros has an intuitive app that streamlines things and focuses on training, so there will be an audience for that.

Obviously it's going to split opinions but I've no issues with either, price, software and app integration are more important for me.

So the pros are out there using it. Good. No excuses for basic *f##k* or shitful implementation of features like I'm seeing on the iGS800 at the moment. Which has me wondering what Froomy really thinks of it... I have no dog in the watch game so I'll be coming at this Coros unit from a pure bike only angle.

The design is not really suitable for road bikes from a durability perspective....my aluminium bike computer mount snapped on a ride last week on a bend at about 15mph and my Garmin and light flew into the middle of the road. Luckily neither were run over by a car and both were undamaged. I don't even need to speculate what would have happened to a bike computer with a large protruding part.....let's just say I'm very pleased with the durability of my Garmin 530 and Cateye Ampp 800 light.

Look forward to reading the reviews - more competition in the bike computer market can only be a good thing.

Just wish the Crown was a bit smaller like the Apple one on their headphones. Could be a quick & easy way to scroll/zoom/select on the go though
