for those of you running tubeless, have you used the tubeless tape applied by farsports or are you removing the installed tape and putting another brand?

On all my Farsport wheels I run tubeless with original rim tape. No problems.

Likewise, I inspected it and they had done a good job with installation.

I easily mounted some 28mm GP5000 STR's which seated with a track pump then held air without sealant for several weeks which seemed to confirm my visual inspection.

Hey guys. Is it possible to get a no hole for tubeless but also carbon spokes on their r270 hub? I've seen some posts here that makes it seem possible but I don't see how I can order that on the website.
Or maybe it's under another model name that I'm not seeing instead of Products > Carbon Spokes

I have messaged them on WhatsApp and done. I have now put about 200+ km this week on the wheels after having fixed the cassette glued ring (completely removed) and I must say I'm really impressed. They are a bit stiffer than my fulcrum wind (not super noticeable if not in the climbing sprint or on the rough surfaces), but at the same time they are more comfortable (despite harsher vibration on imperfections) due to the higher tire volume (my cinturato 28mm became 31mm). So I'm super happy overall. Derailleur didn't need retuning, disc brakes didn't need retuning coming from fulcrum. Every TLR Pirelli tire+wheel combo I have tried in the past (light bicycle, fulcrum, mavic) made me cry to both install and remove for the tightness (even just the first bead). On wheelsfar I could put them in a minute by bare hands both beads. Putting 60ml of sealant and pumping normally with a floor pump. Fantastic!

My only wish was that the paintless UD was really paintless, instead it is gloss coating on carbon. Real paintless is Lighbicycle blacktek or Enve SES (I have both with me). Next wheelsfar in the future I'll ask no paint at all 😂

Nice. I bought a 58mm set with R270 before and loved it but wasn't in love with matte and regretted not getting 30mm wide rim.

I was just able to email / order UD paintless R270 carbon spoke with no holes in 50mm. Very excited. Easy tubeless setup sounds like a dream.

Hi carbon spoke wheells owners,

Can anybody share feedback after 5000km/10000km? How long do wheels stay true and how do (ceramic) bearings hold up? Any troubles with servicing?
6500km on my 35mm/RD270/Carbon Spoke/ Hyper wheels. Still true, zero issues with the spokes and bearings. The only issue i've had from the start (but failed to follow up with Farsport) is the cassette has a "wobble" in it when spinning. I've read a couple of other posts in here where others have had the same issue. My bike mechanic tried a few different cassettes - no difference, wobble is still there. It doesn't affect shifting at all.

This issue should not be because of wheels/hub. The problem is probably in Shimano cassette. Remove the spacer in the back of the cassette, and you should be OK.

My 50mm RD270 24/30 were pretty much DOA. Just got about 250km on them and them freehub is slipping through basically now at a point where it's completely unrideable.
Anybody else experienced something similar and would know what's up? Do I have to exchange the freehub for another one or is it something more. In any case this sucks so bad, this bike build already feels like a never-ending story.
I reached out to Emma via Whatsapp directly as well, let's see..

Too much grease in/around the ratchets? The first thing I would do is pop off that freehub body and remove the spring and ratchets. Give everything a good wipe down and apply some fresh grease. Too little grease and the ratchets make an insane amount of noise. Too much grease and they won't engage.

If that doesn't help, inspect the spring to ensure enough force is being applied for them to engage.

If that doesn't help, have them send you a replacement freehub.

Good luck.

Tyoac, get some DT Swiss springs and you're good. I had the same issue on my first rides. Problem solved with the new springs.

You can adjust the spring tension by hand pulling/pushing them. Using pliers to hold the bottom end helps.
