Hello :)

In the hope that this is within the self-promotion rules of this forum, I would like to introduce the BCYCLET Inferno Series here. Also, fellow WeightWeenies get a small discount on the registration fee with the code "inferno24WW"

The BCYCLET Inferno Series events are above all extraordinary cycling adventures. Challenging routes over the most iconic climbs of the French and Swiss alps, with support on the road (feed stations, broom wagon), and at night (luggage service, massages), carried by a very special community spirit (limited number of participants, shared meals, no huge price purse, but mutual encouragement). If you are more a visual person, you can watch the GCN film (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eM0r5rK0UmQ) and our film from 2023 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miCXrIqGuOM) for some more insights.

We are not a big organisation, the series was founded with the French event by the co-owners of a small bike store and travel agency in Geneva in 2020, I took over the management of the Inferno last year on a part-time basis (I am mostly a PhD student), and added the Swiss Inferno for 2024, making it a series. There are no big partners in the background either, our biggest supporter presently is the Swiss importer for Moots Cycles.

In 2024, there are two events:

BCYCLET Inferno Swiss
Interlaken – Disentis – Umbrail (425km/11700m+) 20-23.06.24

BCYCLET Inferno Original
Annecy – Guillestre – Menton (470km/11500m+) 22-25.08.24

Both events have two stages (Friday & Saturday), the Thursday is for registration, briefing, a small warmup ride etc., the Sunday for the travel back. All packages include three nights accommodation, three dinners, three breakfasts and so on.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or contact me!

Kind regards

Konstantin

This event looks mad! I'm too late for the 2024 edition but it's now on my radar for 2025
