My time-trial results....

In 2022 I ran this bike in a local TT and averaged 19.5mph, in 2023 after putting Continental tires on it and some longer pedal cranks I got it up to 20.25 average over a TT course. Now that I am 62 with a leaky heart-valve, I will be happy if I can just run close to those averages for 2024....

I could get on the pointy end of the results sheet 25 years ago, but when you are in your 60s you just have to do it because it is fun for you because each year you slide back towards the blunt end. I refuse to ride any "aero" bicycle, I am going to finish this ride out on the round-tube steel bikes I have been riding since the 1970s.

I'd be happy do do "evens " on a 10tt course these days.If you get tighter clothing that will help./quote]
My goal is to race/ride non-aero steel bikes with non-aero clothing and flat pedals as I have done since the 1960s. I am not particularly interested in anything made in the last 40 years.
