I didn't see anything else about the Emonda in the catalog, so that's my guess. Odd since the current Emonda was just released in '21

2020 Trek Emonda SLR-7 Disc - 6.86kg

Revising my guess to an updated Domane+ LT ebike.

Trek releasing a new model? Or new year Emonda maybe.

Goven the tagline it's almost certainly an e-bike, probably using the same new lightweight motor/battery system as the Fuel Exe

My guess would be Domane+ stays as the full power Bosch motor option and the new lightweight motor system goes in the new bike they'll put into the Emonda family (Eemonda? :P ).

But it could be either.

a big part of me wants trek to make a road frame similar to the aethos. i recently test rode an emonda and i was surprised how stiff the ride was.
it did make me wonder if its possible to use an accelerometer to measure power losses from bouncing up and down so much.

Very likely that Cannondale is brewing the Factor “VAM” or Canyon “EVO” positioning for their new line up with the lab71. It’s a smart move to sell slightly lighter bike at a much higher price than their base flagship model while using the same production mold. Just speculation but thats what their line up is missing.

This "smart" idea has been rehashed in the industry for decades. The most important thing is the fragship should be popular, as Tarmac or Dogma of which values were proved by the great race results hence likes of S-Works Tarmac Ultralight or Dogma F10 X-Light were once released. I don't think the current SuperSix EVO is as popular as even Ostro, Ultimate or the two previous SuperSixes.

Evo wasn’t enough for Canyon. They have CFR on top of that now.

Nice looking Frameset, but quite demanding geometry.
