Any grease that's no corrosive to Aluminum, Plastic, Carbon or Steel is acceptable for use on our bikes.. Typically you want to choose something with a Poly blend, as oil based lubes can be corrosive and have adverse interactions with component materials..

Has anyone used both SRAM force and rival axs and can tell me.whether they've missed the bite point adjustment?

Rival has no contact point adjustment, just lever reach.

I guess that's what he's asking. If people miss that feature from rival groupset. I'm assuming to decide to go for rival or force.

Sorry I've didn't think mentioning it again was necessary and kinda self explanatory from context.
But yeah, I'm on the fence between these two.
On my current bike I can push the lever to the bars and I'd like to avoid that with my new bike (semi hydro + Shimano)

do you know if sram olive and bard can be reused, I need to shorten brake cable ?

No, once its crimped on when screwed into the shifter or caliper it crimps the the okive and barb amd makes it extremely difficult to remove the olive.. if somehow you are able to separate them, you could use the barb again as its hard stainless steel and doesn't deform... but its kinda pointless as these pieces are sold in sets and you will just be left with extra barbs at the end of the day

Is it possible to use force etap levers with rival etap fd/rd? Then I could use rim brakes with rival. Been searching for the answer everywhere with no luck

I think the best Price to weight ratio for AXS is as follows:
Rival Shifters
Rival FD (nearly as lite as Red and lighter than Force)
Force RD
Force cassette (Rival cassette is really heavy)
Red Crank arms (cant beat 355g arms)
Chain Rings Red or Force, whatever is cheaper, they are really close in weight
Chain Force chain is pretty good for $35 USD

I quote your post because I am in the middle of a crisis here :lol:

I bought a aspero frame 1 y ago and very slowly I am building my bike. At the moment I have a For e RD, Red crank arms, chainrings .... almost done the transmission except for the shifters and brakes. I wanted to go for the Force but it is almost impossible to find. Now the rival shifters are available somewhere and I don't know what to do: waiting for the for e.or go for the rival? It's mainly a psychological thing, my dream was to build this bike with premium components and I did not want to go for "budget" stuff.
