The PR-2 from the last 5 years are all TLR, and since they're not hookless, you can ride every tire you want.
Thanks, one thing that actually I wasn't sure if the PR2 are hookless as I couldn't find this anywhere in the specs.
Thanks for clarifying!

Does anyone know if I can put the Pirelli P Race TLR tyres on the Giant Pr-2 wheels?
Yes a clincher tire with an interior. I don't recall PR2 to be tubeless ready, so you might have to do some conversion to make it tubelss.
The PR2 are tubeless ready, actually the stock TCR Advanced 1 comes with the Gavia Course 1 tubeless tyres

Just dropping in to say my seat post clamp replacement has been flawless, zero noise and no slipping. It's been rock solid.

Overall I love this bike, climbs great, confortable and feels fast when in the drops. The SLR1 wheels on this bike roll really smooth, like I noticably roll easier than others in my bunch to the point where I'm riding the brakes a lot, not sure why that is but I like it. :)

I've had to ditch the stock Fleet SL saddle, first time using a wide short nose saddle and I was experiencing odd hamstring cramps/fatigue with some lower back pain. It's weird the saddle feels comfortable but the width of the nose I think was cutting circulation to the back of my legs. Returning to an Arione fixed all those issues. I've read others have similar issues with these short nose saddles.

I'll just chime in here for a question... A TCR advanced 2018 came for sale. Di2 Ultegra etc, Enve stem and bars.
I'm 193cm, 81cm BB center to top of seat for seatheight. Its a size L, and Giant says the 2018 L fits 183-188, meanwhile the brand new TCR L fits up 193. You guys think i'll fit a size L?

How much steertube is left? Do you know what stack height you need / have on your current bike (assuming it fits you well...)

This is also the wrong thread to ask this question... :welcome:

Steertube is not cut. I ride a CAAD10 size 60. Their dimensions isent too far off. The TCR also come with 120mm stem.
And yes its the wrong thread... nobody responded in the frame size thread, and i'm slightly in a hurry to decide! :D

Yes, since it clamps the top and bottom it doesn't matter if the rails are round or oval

Has anyone had the new SLR 1 wheels taken apart? What is the ratchet system in the rear hub? Is it a DT SWISS (EXP)? Giant states 30T ratchet - maybe a custom one?

Haven't taken them apart, but I know its something that Giant decided to build custom. I'd guess it were still designed by DT Swiss though : )

People with Giant TCR pro bikes which have seatpost clamp creaking issues, I've just discovered that Giant rectified the design of the clamp, if you got one of the earlier clamps, talk to your dealer to get the newer updated clamp.

I discovered this by coming across a cyclingtips review, trying to a find solution to my persistent creak issue.

https://cyclingtips.com/2021/01/2021-gi ... ke-review/
Our test sample also experienced some obnoxious creaking from the seat post. Turns out our sample was supplied with the wrong seat post wedge from the factory and a quick swap to the correct one immediately solved this issue and brought the TCR’s aero post design back to the quiet and reliable fit we knew from previous generations.

This isn’t a design or manufacturing flaw but rather human error in packaging, and I mention it solely as I’ve heard from one other owner who’s had the same creaking issue in their new TCR. Giant assures me this is an incredibly rare incident but if you own a 2021 TCR Advanced or Advanced Pro and can see a gap between the front of the seat post and the wedge, then reach out to your local shop or Giant for the right part.
Here is old seat clamp that creaks.

New updated design, you can see the new design is much longer for better grab and requires less torque.

I'll be speaking to my dealer first thing in the morning, just had to share this info ASAP with others.
Can anyone quote the part number for the 'new' TCR 2021 seatpost wedge (4.5 - 5.5Nm version) ?

Are these being fitted to the latest TCR deliveries?
