Some cheap aliexpress or ebay on the saddle rails is good. I did some modifications with knife and used lighter bolts and it's around 30g.

If it's coming this year, most likely we'll see it at the Tourbikeboy1tr wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 1:49 amHas anyone heard anything on the next generation of the V series yet? My dealer says their is something in the works but didnt say when.

Hm, it doesn't match in what way? The D mount that is? Or do you simply mean the style/color?

Ordered my V3Rs in january, promised delivery in march. Second of march, with the retailer we call Colnago and ask a status update. I get the answer that the bike hasn't been painted yet. Given the situation, I asked if it is possible to change the paintjob to Frozen White. "Ok, no problem, but there is an extra cost". Accepted it and waited. End of april, no delivery. Asked for clarifications, got answered that it will be delivered the following week. The following week, nothing was delivered. Called them again, received the answer that due to the particular paint job it will be delivered AT THE END OF JULY.FlatlandClimber wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 11:39 amI have a rental V3RS on Mallorca now for the next 10 days, and after a little Loop on day one, I am rather impressed.
Got me thinking if this might be my next *for the love of cycling*-bike.
Anyone have an idea how long deliveries of frames in some of these crazy paint jobs might take?
On the website of the local Dealer (local being 2hrs+) it says 125+ days for any V3RS.
Do you have any experience with paint jobs like these?
I remember it taking 3 months more to get a special paint job on the Dogma F10.
I spare you the legal details, but at the end of the story I received my V3Rs in the "traditional" black color (minor white accents) last week.
The Frozen white color was simply unobtainable for me. From one of their historical dealers in Italy...
I guess that I might make the paintjob done by LumarColors at the end of the cycling season.

That's exactly my fear when dealing with an Italian company. At least it matches exactly what I experienced with Pinarello.
Idk how many times I was told that I would get notified "next week" and never got notified.

I would have waited - that Frozen White is special, although I'm partial to the Frozen Red.
Riding a bike is no fun. Waiting for the bike to arrive, and spending time building it up, setting it up, the anticipation...that's the greatest part of our sport

I couldn't wait for availability of frozen blue or gold either. All dates are so far away and who knows what will happen when October comes, might just as well get delayed for another 6 months.
So I ended up ordering the green/yellow partial paint and I love it, totally happy that I did it.

Thing is, I never received a certain date about the delivery of the white one. After they promised me that the bike was going to be delivered in two days and then it shifted by 2 months, I had no faith in even end of July. And I have to ride the Haute Route in August, therefore I need some minimum time to get used to the new bike, disc brakes and just the feel. Plus the necessary position/biomechanic adjustments. I could not risk that a bike would not arrive before the race, which would mean I would have to race with a CAAD10 (althought it is a 6.3kg CAAD10...)iheartbianchi wrote: ↑Wed Jun 16, 2021 5:01 amI would have waited - that Frozen White is special, although I'm partial to the Frozen Red.

Then I also got in contact with Lumar Colors (the guys that paint Sagan's bikes...) and got confirmation that they can do that paint job and the exact same technique, even using two colors to make some sort of fading from white to something else in some areas. Which is very likely that I will do, at the end of the cycling season somewhere around November.
In the picture there is the bike as it arrived. Specs of the pictures are:
Colnago V3Rs - frame size 50
Campagnolo Super Record EPS Disc groupset, 52/36 and 11-32 cassette
Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO 45 wheelset
Colnago stem and handlebar, 100mm stem
Berk Lupina Saddle
Assioma Duo pedals
Pirelli Race clinchers, 28mm
Silca latex inner tubes with way too long extenders
JRC Components Garmin mount
Stock bottle cage
As it is in the picture, the weight was (without the bidon and the garmin) 7,35kg
Some things have already been changed (thru axles, inner tubes, bottle cages, bolts, lowering the weight to 7,26kg), some other are about to be changed but I want to check with the biomechanic first (confirmation of the stem lenght -> THM or Schmolke; seat tube with or without setback -> Darimo; handlebar to be decided, probably Darimo too). And a second pair of lightweight wheels (Extralite) is being set up as tubeless.
