Update: Cannondale have accepted the warranty claim, but no new frames or bikes available for a few months unfortunately.mattharrop wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 11:53 amI've picked up a 2020 Hi Mod and had some seatpost slipping issues recently but were fixed on yesterday's ride. This morning a very small crack in the paint. Something to be concerned about? Perhaps overtightening?
Think you might be getting a 2022 frame. If they have no warranty stock atm, I doubt more are being made at this stage.mattharrop wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 9:13 pmUpdate: Cannondale have accepted the warranty claim, but no new frames or bikes available for a few months unfortunately.mattharrop wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 11:53 amI've picked up a 2020 Hi Mod and had some seatpost slipping issues recently but were fixed on yesterday's ride. I was told the same.
My frame isn't cracked so no structural damage however they would replace it due to the cosmetic issue, or in the future if it worsens they'd replace it then.
I chose to keep and use for now as the limited availability.

I suspect so. Looks like the bigger downtube logo is coming back on the 2022 frames. Thankfully I've still got my rim brake SS Evo Hi Mod to use until it gets resolved.RDY wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 10:52 pmThink you might be getting a 2022 frame. Educated guess based on the newest models - the Rival ETAP AXS model and Ultegra model which have the larger logo. Based on Cannondale's plan to move away from model year designation, it seems these could be "2022" models. Could be wrong though.RDY wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 11:27 pmWhere did you see that?mattharrop wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 10:43 amI suspect so. Logo looks exactly the same as the HiMod EF team replica '21 to me.mattharrop wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 8:58 amEducated guess based on the newest models - the Rival ETAP AXS model and Ultegra model which have the larger logo. I doubt they'll be dropping model years any time soon ... It helps dealers woo punters with "ooh, new, shiny".

Got the SI arms w/ Stages powermeter installed, gonna be fun to see the numbers, this is my first powermeter. Put her back on the scale, 7.75kg with the new wheels and crankarms. Not bad at all for still having 105, still a fair amount of weight to drop with di2 and a carbon seatpost. Just need the new 12 speed stuff to come out so I can snatch up a gently used 11 speed groupset.

Nice looking setup!
Any issues running the mechanical shifting through the stem/headtube? I've been eyeing a SS in that color/build but that Luscher vid at the top of the page makes me pretty nervous.
Damn, they need to fire engineers who come up with that. A metal pin that bangs to frame? LMAOBroady wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 2:04 pmLuescher's done a vid - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9u4_Ep8JbY8

Thanks! No issues so far, about 2,600 miles on this setup. Haven't had any issues with the headtube either thankfully. I read somewhere that the 2021 frames have metal plates to help with the impact, not sure if that's true tho.TwincamRob wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 9:32 pmNice looking setup!
