My first post, so I thought it would be nice to share the work in progress of my custom Addict RC40 :D
Different rotors rear and front?

I have also noticed it but assumed it was used material from another bike :)

Hi guys,
Hereby the brief spec list of my white addict RC40 custom build:
Basically I ordered the Addict RC40 size 56 and only kept the frame and seat post i.e.
* Drive train : Dura Ace Di2 with XTR rotors F 160 R 140 (to be received) good observation BTW
(got a good deal with my LBS and don't mind it will be replaced in 2021)
* Seat post : Duncan Aero = probably to be replaced by the 0 off set (SL) seat post (89 inseam vs 180 total length)
* Handle bar : Duncan IC SL
* Wheels : DT Swiss PRC1400 35mm
* Tires : 28mm Standard Schwalbe tires (to be replaced after use by Continental 5000 - 28mm)
* Pedals : Look Carbon Blade (to be received)

Oh and the saddle will be replaced by the Selle Italia SLR Flow Carbonio (which I like the most)

Implicit question for this forum remained unanswered, so I gotta ask it explicitly - what's the weight? :D

I'll let you know when the complete build is finished. As Biden would say, just be patient 😉

But you can answer my second question - I heard that the XTR rotors are a little bit sturdier than Shimano road rotors, so the disc rubbing should not happen so often (in my case it's whenever I run into a pothole), so what is your experience?

Anyone running the 2021 Zipp 303S or 303 FC on their Addict with 28c or 30c tires?

How is the clearance like especially at the rear?

Small update :
Replaced the std saddle with the Selle Italia SLR flow Carbonio and installed the 0 off set seat post and Elite Leggero bottle cages.
Actual weight with the heavy (and to be replaced) Look keo classic pedals (and front mount) = 7,3 Kg for a size L or 56
With the lighter pedals and lighter rear rotor it will be around 100 g lighter ; they should arrive mid of December.

Hi Guys,
I have an Addict RC with the two piece stem/ handlebar set up. I was wondering whether the only compatible garmin mount is the Syncros one or are there other integrated mounts which will work ok? The Syncros one is pretty pricey! Thanks.

if you have the regular "round" mounts that attach on the handlebars, you can do it no problem, if you want the integrated fancy pants one, you can get the syncros one

Ok cool thanks. £65 a bit too much for a fancy pants investment for me!

Did anybody buy the farsports intergrated bar stem. If so how easy is the cable routing, I would need to do mechanical gearing along with the brakes. How's the quality, weight and ado you have any pics fitted.

Windy there tells me it ships with spacers.

Is that still with the Schwalbe tyres by the looks of it? Will Conti5000s save a little bit more weight?
