Good looks (Roval CLX 50) @ 6.5 kg vs. uphill performance (shallow custom wheelset) @ 6.15kg.
Tough choice

Awesome paint job, looks live a silver arrow!
How did you or your painter manage the S-Works decals with the paint job?

Thanks! I let a local office make them based on my donor frameset. They measured, outlined and recreated the set.justRideIt wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 9:04 amAwesome paint job, looks live a silver arrow!

Wow! what a great looking bike. Did he biy it is a complete and upgrade it? or did he buy just the frameset. Here in the US, that's a new colroway, only added to the website recently and it is only offered as a comp level complete bike, with an ultegra mechanical build.
That's why I kept the 9000.

Ultegra mechanical and rest of take off went to another friend. so it offset his cost some.

Almost under 7kg (7.1kg with pedals, cages, and power meter)
I still have to cut the steerer, and seatpost.
New pedals, and brakes next.
I'm thinking staying with Look pedals but going to the Keo blade carbon TI, and Cane Creek calipers. Maybe going with Jagwire cables and housings next service.
It's been super fun trying to lighten this bike up. Seeing such nice bikes in this thread is some serious motivation.

Hey,
So here is my wife and my own Tarmac SL6. They're both about 7kg, now that hers has just had some Dura Ace swapped onto it.
Mine
58cm in Blue
Dura Ace 9050 (9100 brakeset)
Wheels Mfg bb adaptor
SWorks Romin saddle
Deda superleggero stem, and carbon bar.
Hunt 36 Aerowide with schwalbe pro one tubless or turbo cottons (season dependant)
Vector 2s power meter.
Elite plastic bottle cages.
Wife's bike
54cm Womens Silver
Dura Ace 9150
Wheels Mfg bb
S works power saddle
Deda zero 100 stem and bar
Roval CL50 with S-works turbo, lifeline skewers.
Planet x carbon bottle cages
Spesh power meter on crank arm.
Hers could be a bit lighter but isn't keen on carbon bars.
I don't think there's too much weight to take off either unless you go nuts with cash on expensive parts.
