Found a brand new MY 2018 frameset for $2000USD, is this as good as it gets for a discounted frame?

Disc? That's an excellent price IMO if in good condition.

Yes, Disc, brand new

Just not the colour I would buy if I had a myriad of choices, but it's only the logo colour I'd change so it's easily replaceable by a decal

The trickiest part is me bringing it across the sea hoping it wont get damaged, but I think I'm willing to take the risk for that price

Are you importing into the US? You're going to end up paying 11% in customs fees and then also state sales tax, so it will be roughly 20% total. Still a helluva lot cheaper than buying a new frameset from US dealers I guess.

No Canada. I take a 13% hit on approx $1480 ~ still worth it I think, that's an added $200 ish on top

Anyway it's just a plan for now. I had my eyes on another frame but the LBS didnt show me enough love plus some other things I did not like so I'm exploring options - this, a BMC SLR01 complete bike (won't like the components though), a strip and rebuild Super Six Evo to name a few options

Does anyone have a source for the rubber frame plugs that are used with Di2? So far I only saw the one that closes the seat tube hole when it is not used. But maybe I am also searching with the wrong keywords.

I bought a Tarmac Disc Sport 105 that I want to upgrade with the Ultegra Di2 Upgrade Set. The bike came with the part that closes the shift cable entry on the down tube, but without the other rubber fittings.

Is the rear derailleur cable exit plug even different between mechanical and Di2?
I am from Germany, so online shops from Europe would be preferred.

Thank you!

These are what I use. I use the circular ones if I recall correctly.

Is it normal for brand new frames to be wrapped like this?

Just trying to cover bases in case I transact with a seller. It'll be my first S Works if I push through it

Yes, I've seen frames liked that when I've photographed them straight out of the box from Specialized.

Yes. Almost all manufacturers will wrap each tube section in foam, cardboard or both for impact / perforation protection.
