raph37: How did you get that crank to work with BB30a? No bearing adjust and just a wavy washer and maybe some shims?

We tried to get the S-Works PM to work on my SystemSix, but the spindle is just soooo short that we couldn't get it to clear. I may give this PM another run on my EVO3 build, but for now it will be SISL2 with SRM, which is pretty close (through not quite as light) as the S-Works.
EVO1 | 5.37kg
EVO3 (sold) | 6.51kg
EVO4 | build thread coming soon
S5 Disc
SystemSix (sold) | 8.01kg
P5 Disc | heavy but fast

Have you removed the bearing adjuster on the left side of the Cranks?refthimos wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 12:44 amWe tried to get the S-Works PM to work on my SystemSix, but the spindle is just soooo short that we couldn't get it to clear. This is an extremely nice build and now that I see you getting a disc bike to that weight without too many super light parts makes me want to have one. That wheelset must be extremely light to get a disc bike to 7kg. Anything special for caliper hardware and discs?

Nothing special about brake system. The wheelset weight 1450grams: no so light but built for stiffness and use bit tiresbikeboy1tr wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:58 pmThis is an extremely nice build and now that I see you getting a disc bike to that weight without too many super light parts makes me want to have one. That's a really impressive weight considering all the integration and the wheelset you've chosen.
I'm interested in the tuned xg1190 12-32 cassette. You have any more details on that?

11t cog removed on a 11/26 xg1190 then I put a 30t miche last position sprocket. So finally I have a 12/13/14/15/16/17/19/21/23/26/30 range cassette and it works fineiamraymond wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 10:19 amThat's a really impressive weight considering all the integration and the wheelset you've chosen.

Pretty easy with speedplay pedals, lighter saddle and bike ribbon, forget the powermeter to and you won’t be far of 6,8kgDan Gerous wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 6:06 pmEncouraging for my aim to eventually build one under 6.8kg.
And dura ace di2 instead of ultegra di2raph37 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 10:09 pmPretty easy with speedplay pedals, lighter saddle and bike ribbon, forget the powermeter to and you won’t be far of 6,8kgDan Gerous wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 6:06 pmEncouraging for my aim to eventually build one under 6.8kg.

My plan would be with DA Di2 indeed, XTR rotors, Hollowgram SISL2 with SpideRing SL, different bar+stem, wheels (not sure what yet, DT's PRC 1100 25Y maybe?), tubeless tires (either new Schwalbes or new Michelins that will be out early 2020)... but I'd stick with DA 9100 pedals, I used Speedplays for years, way too much maintenance for me.raph37 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 10:33 pmAnd dura ace di2 instead of ultegra di2raph37 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 10:09 pmPretty easy with speedplay pedals, lighter saddle and bike ribbon, forget the powermeter to and you won’t be far of 6,8kgDan Gerous wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 6:06 pmEncouraging for my aim to eventually build one under 6.8kg.
