Lighter PM option than Rotor Inpower?

I have a 170mm Rotor Inpower 3D30 single sided PM crankset with Praxis compact rings. Super reliable, never let me down and works with my etap FD. My only problem is the 720g weight of the setup exc BB which is PF30.

Suggestions for cutting significant weight at reasonable cost would be welcome! It pains me that I could get a Red crank for £250 and save 200g but then I would lose the PM. I am a Speedplay user so pedal based PM not currently an option.

Thanks in anticipation of your weight weenie wisdom!

Perhaps the complete crankset (DUB)

I guess the BB bearings could be the issue though!?

For dual, S-Works Power Crank - 615gr
Otherwise, just add 4iiii to SiSL2

Have you considered switching to lighter rings?

Praxis rings are fairly light actually. Extralite would save a bit of weight it’s true but they don’t have the best rep with Etap.

I’ve thought about Sworks and SISL2 but both come out about £1k so fail the reasonable cost test. Sworks would save about 100g, SISL2 would be nearer to 200g so better value but still spendy!

is there a regular 110 bcd version of the PM?
I like to run 46/34 and regular chainrings are dirt cheap

I'm gonna add another option, not as light as the Specialized power cranks. The next lightest non-chinese option is the Easton EC90 SL crank (352g in 170mm viewtopic.php?t=158291) w/ Power2max NG/NGeco (154g) w/ praxis chainrings. You're looking at 506g for the EC90 SL crank w/ NGeco (https://power2max.cc/collections/ngeco- ... ith-cranks) and another 151g for the praxis for total of 657g.

For single side i have a sram red bb30 w stages carbon nds. W bolts spacers and 150g q rings 172.5 arms and 130bcd it is 559g. In a compact w extralite rings it could be under 500g

It's chinese Sigeyi AXO spider. Cheap Power2max NG alternative.

This could be the winner thanks NiFTY. My Praxis rings are 134g so with those and 110bcd 170mm cranks could be looking at 525g ish? Solid saving of 190-200g for around £700.

Stages reliability is a bit of a worry, no?

This looks promising if it’s US$600, probably £600 by the time it gets to me.
Unknown PM is a concern to me though.
With Praxis rings and bolts looking at 560g thereabouts so 160g saving, pretty impressive for double sided power.
