Ouch, that stock crankset is heavy. Now I’m beginning to doubt my decision to put spiderings on the stock Cannondale 1 arms instead of using a lightweight crankset. Does anyone know how much of that 800g is the rings?

Does anyone know if an aftermarket direct mount hanger is available for the disc version yet? I’ve had a look on eBay and found nothing yet.

Just a quick picture of new frameset before I m sending it off for a respray. The current paintjob looks and feel really cheap, and the Rapha logo feels and looks like somebody used a white tippex pen and wrote Rapha on top of frame. Not nice at all.

Yes it's a sticker, it's meant to be removable, thankfully.

Good to hear!

By the way, here's a thorough review of the new Evo (in Italian). Strangely, there's no real reviews (not first impressions) published in the English speaking press so far.

Yes it’s Himod. Still looks bad either way. Weight you can see is not accurate due to the rest of packaging of course. Will weigh it once it’s back from the painters. :)

Would be interested in weight before removing the paint, raw and once repainted.

Previously some super six evo2 have been way heavier than claimed due to “porky paint jobs” (quoting Fatcreation) and Spe painted frames twice to mask initial poor painting

Thanks for the info on ring weights. It means I'll save 67g by swapping out the stock rings for 8 arm spider rings, more importantly it will save about 27 standard units of ugly.

It's a 144g penalty over using my k force cranks (733 VS 589g) which is a lot. I think I'll start with the heavy but pretty ones and if I need to find extra savings later I know it's there for the taking.
