If that’s what next years team colors are then I can’t wait to see the jerseys will be. How much more could we expect from Eurobike with Scott?SashaJoseph wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 11:12 amAbout to fall for this beauty.

Just waiting a few more days to see if Eurobike brings some surprises.

Carboner
I was curious what the top was addict could get down to so I did some quick maths basically swapping the SRAM Red AXS groupset for dura ace di2.
SRAM Red AXS shifters 467g, dura ace di2 320g
SRAM brakes 282g, dura ace 256g
SRAM FD 167g, dura ace FD 104g
SRAM RD 299g, dura ace RD 197g
SRAM 48/35 crank 582g, Dura Ace 52/36 crank 624g
SRAM 10-33 cassette 213g, rotor 11-30 cassette 145g
SRAM Red chain 255g, KMC X11SL Ti Nitride chain 243g
Plus swapping the rear rotor for a 140mm save 16g if the SRAM Centerline X rotors are used.
If my math is right, that should be about 392g in savings. Throw in the di2 stuff that eTap doesn’t need and I would imagine there would be about 300g of savings putting the Addict RC ultimate at 6.6kg.
It seems like I might be doing something wrong so correct me if something is off.

My heart jump when I saw this ressurected. I thought someone had purchased one and some real photos. I can literally say I've only seen 1 person on Insta who has one.
Anyway, same conundrum @DDDJDD though I'm only looking at the 10 or 20. I think I've narrowed down one porky thing on this bike - it's the cockpit.
For the non ICS ones the stem is 240g + Syncros Bars 280g . The Creston ICS is 280g (apparently, I'm not sure if that's correct), and if Competitive Cyclist is pricing the Aero ones at $400 which is 380g, then I can assume it'll be more than that. If I ditch the stock stem and bars it'll be paperweight as they go hand in hand - the bars have a hole that connects to the stem for the cables, so you cant really use just either/or. It'll be hard to resell them.

I'm wondering if I should start considering the SuperSix now. I can have a clean cockpit with a cover as shown with some pro bikes that dont use the Cdale ones and it'll cost less. I'm looking at the SRAM Force build, it's 750 more in my area but I get better wheels and perhaps a lighter bike all stock?

This is not correct as you did not count Di2 batteries, junction boxes and wires. The actual difference is less than 200g.DDDJDD wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 4:01 pmI was curious what the top was addict could get down to so I did some quick maths basically swapping the SRAM Red AXS groupset for dura ace di2.

If you buy frameset only (Scott sells them, and actually for relatively nice price), it does not come with the bars, so (by paying extra, of course, for them) you can probably spec whichever size you need.g32ecs wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 4:33 pmFor the non ICS ones the stem is 240g + Syncros Bars 280g . 280g is nicely light (think 180g bars + 100g stem), unless Scott quotes this weight for 90/380 combo, which, of course, will grow by by some 30g at least when choosing 110/420, for instance.

I did some quick math doing this and my LBS would have to show how much they love me over the years.mrlobber wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 8:09 pmIf you buy frameset only (Scott sells them, and actually for relatively nice price), it does not come with the bars, so (by paying extra, of course, for them) you can probably spec whichever size you need.g32ecs wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 4:33 pmFor the non ICS ones the stem is 240g + Syncros Bars 280g . Frameset
Handlebars
Groupset
Wheelset
Labour for the build
What I'm interested to know is how much that handlebar is going to cost. I checked the GB site and the exhange is around 500GBP ~ $800CAD!!! It's gotta be the most expensive handlebars Ive seen in my life.
I will need to fall in love with Scott bikes plus the colour of the RC Pro frame since I think this will be the more budget conscious choice.
This Scott RC2020 is really interesting.....hope it rides well, will update once is built.
Cheers
