I bought a Leadnovo saddle (San Marco Aspide Superleggera knock-off) on eBay a few years ago as a way to test out the new Aspide design to see if it worked for me. I ended up switching from SLRs to all Aspides and kept the Leadnovo on my rain bike... it works great.

Bicycle brand names shouldn't have Lead as their first name.HeluvaSkier wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 3:00 pmI bought a Leadnovo saddle (San Marco Aspide Superleggera knock-off) on eBay a few years ago as a way to test out the new Aspide design to see if it worked for me. Hello,
Thanks for all the info guys, very helpful so far. I want to start a new project and I'm interested in a frame claimed to weight 766 in size 54.
I've seen it listed in Aliexpress by different stores,
Spcycle
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/cOGFTLle
Costelo
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/b8cW566U
Leadnovo
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/eilNNYU
And recently found out that Haideli sells it as well,
http://www.haidelibikes.com/product/sho ... .php?id=32
I'm guessing thate the first 3 are resellers, but is Haideli the actuall manufacturer?
Does anybody have any info about this frame? Is it a open mould? Or is it a knockoff?

Why did you choose this frame in particular?
Never heard of any of these sellers before and what I learned is to ideally only go with "WW approved" Chinese sellers (Hongfu, Dengfu, TanTan, Workswell and so on, see previous pages) people have experience with.
Ideally, and even more: Get sure some people have tested and reported from the specific model you want. I didn't find the frame on one of their pages.
Thanks for your feedback kidrob. Actually, in my spreedsheat there are other models such as the LTK 118 (FM 686, Velobuild 077,...) or Dengfu R02,but I was curious about this frame as I haven't found much info about it. There is a price difference between the LTK 118 and the R29 of around 200 bucks...kidrob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 11:17 amHi, welcome Kamikaks.Kamikaks wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 9:43 pmHello,

It looks too similar to the new Supersix, what do you think?
Uh well, I can just repeat what's already said and suggested: Go with trusted sellers and ideally also trusted models/molds.Kamikaks wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 1:41 pmThanks for your feedback kidrob. You can ofc always be the first one to test and then report "us" though
And about the 200 bucks: Yes, that can be a lot of money. But on the other hand, if you end up with a frame that's not nicely done, has some manufacturing/design issues, its saved at the wrong end. Also, you already save like 2.000+ bucks compared to some of the big brands
Keep in mind: Some of these sellers make absolutely awesome products and have tons of experience - some don't. So I'd rather go with the ones WW "knows" that they would be good.
At the end of the day, the frame is always and obviously one of the most safety related parts, so don't risk it - there already enough risks.
Great thanks, but what I mean is that the R29 is 200 bucks more expensive than the rest of the LTK and 100 more than the FM008 for example, and was wondering if that difference comes with some quality upgrade or something.kidrob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 1:58 pm

Has anyone seen a disc brake TT bike from any of the open mold manufacturers? I'm looking to start doing some local TTs and don't feel like shelling out the big bucks for a shiv, ttir, super slice, ect. Needs to be disc as I already have 2 sets of nice fast disc wheels and don't want to buy new wheels i can only use on my tt bike.

This one from HongFu looks interesting. No idea how it rides though.

Sharing my experience of buying from LightCarbon / YishunBike for others who might be thinking of doing the same.
I contacted them via Alibaba, but they asked me to place the order by sending the money direct as either a bank transfer or by PayPal. Delivery to the UK was $90 and there was an additional PayPal fee of 4% of the total price incl delivery.
I couldn’t get PayPal to accept a ‘goods and services’ payment when the destination was set to China, so I had to send the money as ‘friends and family’.
I ordered a YishunBike LCB006-V. I’m certain that it is the same frame that Nove are selling as a Nove Aero X for £1626. It is also the frame that Phil Gaimon has started using as a replacement for his Nove Race.
It took the factory about 2 weeks to post it to me. I suspect that they made it to order.
They sent me a photo of the label on the package when they posted it.
Delivery to the UK took about 9 days. There was a customs / Parcelforce handling fee of £60 to pay when I collected it from the depot.
So all in all a very positive experience.
One word of caution though, check the geometry chart very carefully. I ordered a bike with the same stack and reach as my old bike and ended up buying a frame that is too big for me - I’m presently selling it on eBay! That’s entirely my own fault though as the dimensions of the frame I ordered match the geometry chart on YishunBike’s Alibaba page.
