2.2) more forward saddle position. At last more road racers abandon Knee Over Pedal spindle myth and go for position that give more advantage. Straight seat post and saddle push forward becoming much more common now. It is done to open up hip angle and allow more comfort and power in more aerodynamic position with more pelvic rotation.
If nothing done to lengthen the front end, we now have the bike weight balance that is more forward shifted than more traditional position. Longer front end counter exactly that.

Wholeheartedly agree with this. The forward position on the bike can be quite jittery over rough roads and I'm glad that front-center is being increased to counteract these evolutionary fit changes.

I’ve mentioned it before, so I repeat:
Using the long rake fork on the 54 coincides with the largest women’s specific bike size. That’s good for cost when you have two forks.

Trail is right in all sizes. That’s what matters most handling wise. Not that I care. I’m a 58 in Cannondales. Rides like a dream, but it’s not my brand.

Went for my first ride yesterday on the SSE3. I’ve had a 2018 SS Disc, and the 2013 SS Black Inc Nano. This bike feels faster, and much more comfortable. Handling was on par with both previous bikes.

Mods: removed stock cockpit and replaced with 3T bars/deda stem. Replaced power2max stock crankset and replaced with spidering/sisl2. Lighter saddle. Tyres and tubes. 0 setback post arrived at the shop today, and still have a few small upgrades to do.

With power pedals, comes in at just under 16lbs.

Any reason you went with the 8 arm spider ring over the 10 arm ?

@ tothemax what size frame is this and did you change vs previous SS disc or did you simply pick the same size ?

sub--16#, with pedals? That's pretty darn good, that cockpit must weigh a ton!

Thanks for the weigh-in. Any idea of the weight of the stock knot 35 wheels? Ideally without disc/tires/tubes. Cheers

I thought it was interesting in the Tour of Utah today that Dombroski elected to ride Evo Gen 2!

Down to 7,2 kilos.

That thing rides like a charm. And is really light.

And the paintjob is crazy cool, because the grey part is not just grey but shines in rainbow glow in different angles.
