recommend an alloy frameset

Been having good fun on my cheap alloy bike back in my home country. Starting to think that some tech isn't for me, not because it's bad, just because I don't race other than a few fondos and don't need extra expense or complication.

What I'm looking for:
-Alloy frameset (carbon or alloy steerer)
-A reasonably well known brand name (that sponsors pros in grand tours)
-BSA or Italian threaded BB
-Shortish HT
-Rim brake
-No weird aero, unusual or propietary parts.

I was going to suggest the Bowman as well, however his 2nd requirement rules it out.
Or Standert Kressage (T47 BB)...
There are lots of smaller companies making interesting alloy frames, I wouldn't restrict my choices to the big companies only.

BMC team machine ALR has a BSA Threaded Bottom Bracket.

Looks like it comes with the high grade Teammachine SLR01 fork too....

28mm tyre clearance.

Possible drawback are the dropped stays and that big join around the top tube and seat tube similar to the CAAD13...

Perfect and the fact that they are too small to sponsor pros makes them even better- less chance of spotting a fat Mamil on one.

Legend by Bertoletti is also a good option for beautifully made alloy frames with smooth welds- similar look to their ti frames.

I skipped the "sponsors pro teams..." requirement
IMO it ticks all other boxes, especially the "short head tube" one.
Canyon used to make the Ultimate in AL SLX version, but with sloped TT, and not especially short at the HT.

I wonder why the OP associates "well known brand" with "sponsors garnd tour teams"...
So many better alloy frames than the "bread and butter" marketing low budget copies of the high end "grand tour" bikes these guys are selling ( IMO) ...

I like my Fuji Roubaix Elite @ 1150 grams in a Med/54 but it has a PF30BB

Fails my requirments on seapost size. I have no clue why any engineer would use a standard MTB size on a road bike. In my experience this makes the bike less comfortable on rough roads. Even if it didn't, I already own 5 standard size carbon posts.

Fails on D-shaped probably proprietary seatpost design. Maybe not a dealbreaker. It’s cool to save a few grams and be more aero when you’re pushing the limits of a high end race machine, but for a 105 equipped everyday training bike it’s pretty much of a potential design fail. Personally I’d rather have the extra 10g and be 10 seconds slower of 40km and have an easier life.
