Cannondale caad 4

I’d look at Cero AR24 as an option, not the depth you’re after but very light and tubeless. mine weighed 1475g, cost was £189. https://www.cycledivision.co.uk/cero-ar ... elset-2017
I’ve picked up two SRAM red 10 speed groupsets on eBay. One was £275 and I got an immaculate one for £325.
I’d go 10 speed myself, I’ve picked up two 10 speed Dura cassettes and a sram red o e this year, all cost less than new 105.
Would love to see pics of your frame/bike

Kalloy UNO stem, my Caad has these £200 eBay 55mm wheels, been riding them since April and they’re great, sure there’s a 30mm option.
I’ve just purchased £1800 Mavic Comete SL UST’s, I’m heading out on them today, honestly I’m not expecting much difference.
You can certainly make the Caad a weapon for not much money.

I would keep the frame and try to build it period correct.
omg what's wrong with you? Keep that 9 speed DA or be forever damned in WW hell!
Honestly though modern Ultegra will not be significantly better than 9 speed DA, especially if you give it a clean and polish and new cables and brake pads etc.

I can't take credit for that or "Carbonello". It's all from a Litespeed ad in VeloNews 15 or so years ago. I put the original stickers on my 3.0 fixed gear conversion and recreated them for the CAAD4, along with the cheesy faux carbon look paint job.
