Any word on when this year's Tarmac is coming out?

Didn't we just get a new Tarmac in 2019. What is expected for 2020? Disc only?
At my local bike shop yesterday afternoon, the staff were excited to gear that the 2020 model year bikes had just arrived on the ordering system. Not new models, but new colors.
Cervelo Aspero (7.75); Orbea Orca OMX (7.30)
Retired: S-Works Tarmac SL6, LOW// mki, Pinarello Dogma F10\F8, Lapierre Pulsium, TIME Fluidity, Wilier Cento1 SR, Ridley Noah, Cyfac Cadence, Cervelo S2\R3\R5, Felt Z25, Klein Quantum, Cannondale 2.0

MY2021 might see some refinement in the tube shapes, but the silhouette is surely going to stay pretty much the same. Integrated bars and fully hidden cables would be the only other significant changes.
Yes, Safe bet that it will have integrated cabling and better shapes since they keep touting their shape library. Also the Roubaix is more areo than the tarmac now.

I've been looking to buy an SL6 Expert/Pro with Di2/etap + Aerofly bars. Lots of the expert models are now out of stock or discounted to £3250 so assume new range is incoming. Do you think the price will drop anymore before 2020 range lands?
Also, does anyone know the difference between Expert and Pro? The only things I've noticed is the groupset (Ultegra vs Ultegra Di2) and wheels (C38 vs CL50). Anything else? When I total up the difference it comes to around £800 but bike RRP difference is £1750 so I feel I'm missing something??

The reason there will be new bikes launched late late this year is because they need to be out before 31/12/19 if they are to be raced at the 2020 olympics is what I’m lead to believe from a few people within the industry.

does a bike have to be on the market available to the public for a certain amount of time before it can be used in the olympics?DartanianX wrote:The reason there will be new bikes launched late late this year is because they need to be out before 31/12/19 if they are to be raced at the 2020 olympics is what I’m lead to believe from a few people within the industry.

I think that's only a UCI rule. Didn't UK riders (mostly team Sky) use some custom framed bike during the London Olympics?octave wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 3:00 pmdoes a bike have to be on the market available to the public for a certain amount of time before it can be used in the olympics?DartanianX wrote:The reason there will be new bikes launched late late this year is because they need to be out before 31/12/19 if they are to be raced at the 2020 olympics is what I’m lead to believe from a few people within the industry.

I found this for track quickly, I’ll see if I can find the same for road.dcorn wrote:I think that's only a UCI rule.
