Hi everyone !

I'm new on this forum : I'm a french cyclist from France. I'm practicing long-distance races, mostly on road but I like to do some gravel. I want to be able to ride fast everywhere.

I'm riding a titanium On One Pickenflick and I would like to try carbon : have anybody heard about the Cipollini MCM Allroad ? It looks like a good compromise, but it's really hard to find concrete informations on the internet about this frame.

Thanks !

Rémi.

Read a bit about the frame construction last night. Super expensive.

Riding fast? I'd consider a ti Mason Bokeh frameset build, due to its geo.
Curve Grovel ti.

Thanks : the chainstay is 435mm on the Bookey. Isn't it too much too have a really nervous frame ?

If you want to pay in excess, Pinarello Grevil is also available.
Better buy a gravel bike and a road bike. Trying again, to mix gravel with road is not to bid success.
You might aswell buy a Open UP on some sale. Even so, wait a bit. During 2019 it's rumoured Open will release a new gravel frameset.
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2018.12.21)

Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D

Pinarello Grevil looks horrible (to my mind)... I prefer the Cipollini ! I have now a road bike and a gravel... I only use the gravel :/ That's why I would like to afford a do it all frame, with enough clearance to fit 40mm tyres to play in gravel, but also enough stiff to play with friends on tarmac.

I was looking at the Open, 3T, Checkpoint, Diverge, and Ibis but somehow ended up ordering the Giant Revolt Adavanced 0 after riding it. Test rode all the mentioned above bikes, minus the 3T. The Open was the best overall bike but the Revolt wasn’t too far behind at a far better price.

The review from Cyclingtips isn't particularly good on the GR-S, and the claimed tire clearance doesn't measure up (which is shocking).

From the review i read on the MCM Allroad, it has a harsh ride. If you are willing to drop that sort of coin for a bike, i would suggest you take a look at the Open UPPER or Festka's new Rover. If you are more budget minded the Orbea Terra looks a pretty good value for the money.

Hi everyone !

I've also heard some good things about the Wilier Cento 10 NDR... looks very good ! But the clearance for 32mm tyres looks a bit poor...

Oh :( I would prefer a local production ! European would be nice... That's why I was studying bikes from Cipollini.
