rims Inner/Outer Width?

hi,

i have a cannondale super six evo 2018 and I dont know if a rim can be too wide for my bike ?

I want to buy : Inner/Outer Width : 21mm/28mm, maybe it could be ok but max with 25mm tire?

You should be fine, as the second generation SuperSix Evo doesn't have the clearance issues of the first generation (real 25mm tire width only).

Maybe even with a 28mm tire on that rims, depending on tire model (Conti GP 5000 will work).

thanks... anyway light bicycles have 2 choices... 19 or 21 inner.. maybe im better with 19.. so almost every 25 and some 28 will work..?

I have the same frameset and with Enve 3.4 wheels (27.5mm external width, 21mm internal), clearance is generous, 28mm tires fit with room to spare.

Cannondale says 28 mm tyres can be mounted to Supersix (second generation).

I tried Vittoria Corsa G+ 28, Conti GP4000IIs 25 (they actually measured a tad over 28) and now Conti GP5000 25.

19mm inner width is ok for 23mm tires, but if you know you will use 25+mm tires only anyway, you should pick the 21mm inside width (wich will also accept 23mm tires, but they are not that easy to mount).

Yep. I use Vittoria open corsa 25..
Gp4000 ll 25. Scwalbee one 25.
