11 speed wide cassette that are light.

Especially for light weight issues concerning cyclocross / touring bikes & parts.

You should be able to fit at least a 11-42 without a wolf tooth using the RX805 derailleur. At least it worked for me and there was some margin left on the adjustment screw.

It was recommended by a local and he actually went from a 40 to 44 recently. Having the big cog is nice when you want it. I still find myself wanting more. Ethirteen has a 303g 9-46T that might be worth looking at if you decide to try going big. I’m not sure if 46T would fit or if you’d bottom out the limit screw though.

I have 46/30 with the 11-42T and a KMCX11SL - I just checked and have 6 links left. So 42 should work but anything else would be an experiment.

I'm running a Force 1 set up with a 10-42 XX1 cassette on my...gasp...road bike. 48t NW ring.

Works very well. Sure, the jumps in gearing aren't ideal for some, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Plenty of people running XTR shifter + RD with an XX1 cassette.

You can also run a Di2 XTR RD with DA shifters.

^ thanks.. 42 is more then enough... maybe even 40. Love the lack of weight on the XX1 cassette.. Really prefer to stick with my 805 Di2 RD... it's been good.

XX1 most expensive but lightest solution... :)
XTR 11-40 would be a wash in weight compared to my 11-34

I have to stare are those ratios a little longer buy an XD driver for my hub.. really hope a dont need a wolftooth link of anykind.

I was able to run the XTR 11-45 with my di2 rx derailleur no wolftooth. I am currently running a Garbaruk @298g 11-46 and had to add the Wolftooth. I have experimented with a bunch of setups, pretty happy with my 50/34 11-46, marginal weight penalty for the gear range.

Do you mean 10-45/11-40 XTR or 11-46 XT?

I forgot it was a shimano with the wolftooth 45 tooth cog. It was pretty heavy which is why I moved to the Garbaruk cassette.
