Russian athletes get a hall pass at home.

I can't believe that Wada is even trying to trust the Russians or re-certify that lab.
Perhaps WADA is maiking a good faith effort while of course knowing the likelihood of the Russians cooperating and coming clean is close to nil. This is probably necessary if future suspensions and bans are to be upheld. Due process and all...
This Russian intransigence should be surprising to no one. That the Russian state will help its athletes to cheat and help to cover up the cheating is really a longstanding tradition. While the athletes are in a tough spot, it's the mid level administrators of the doping schemes that have it really bad. They have a tendency to end up dead in mysterious accidents. Like the one guy who crashed his car into a bunch of bullets.

Ha, I have a weird need to know what bike sponsors do/sell so was actually having a wee Google the other day about Visma of Jumbo-Visma (LottoNL-Jumbo) and I’d completely forgotten that they were in fact Rabbobank, cycling is weird. Ish...
WADA is a show to give the illusion of lean sport. Nothing more.
From Velonews:
"Nibali contract talks ‘on hold’ in wake of blockbuster McLaren deal"
I say Mclaren has tasted the blood in the water (like a shark, geddit? lol) and weighing the option of getting G or Froome over at the end of 2019.
They're so transparent.
Brent Copeland at it again...

Yes, except with the Russians now blocking Wada, and of course running around destroying evidence, the opposite has happened.

This doesn't remind me of Rabobank.
It's like Euskatel-Euskadi was back!
