I was almost decided to buy Dura Ace 9000/9100 cassette, but then I have find out bunch of reports of "faulty" design and too many problems regarding carbon holder of cassette, so ... no Shimano.

Sram Red 11-28 has different ratio (3-teeth jump) on last 4 sprockets, witch I don't like, so ...

I found out only Edco Monoblok cassette that is lighter than my Ultegra 6800 and has same teeth ratios: 11-12-13-14-15-17-19-21-23-25-28. Only change can be on last sprocket, 27 instead of 28, but I haven't seen it so far.

Is there any other solution? Especially if somewhat cheaper than Edco and reliable?

Thanks.
I just looked and that's sounds almost too good to be true, really :) Only 117g and for cca. 140 euros. I will have to do some research but if anyone here use Recon cassettes any suggestion/opinion is more than welcomed.

117g will be aluminum - lighter and easier to machine than steel, but not durable enough for regular use.

Recon makes the Edco cassettes so it doesn't matter which one you get.

I didn't know that for Edco, so thanks.

Yes, I don't want alloy and I have to find EU dealer who have Cr/Mo steel versions. Quick look on Google and ... nothing. Is it possible that Recon don't anymore produce steel cassettes? Only for Edco, for example, as they don't have them on their web site, only alloy?

Well, it's 50% more money than Edco. Definitely too much for me. And with 4 teeth jump at the end. I don't want that.

I finded Recon steel only on some non-EU sites, but I see that price would have be very close to Edco or same. So, I must contemplate a bit is it Edco worthed 3x more to me than new Ultegra, for cca. 50 gram saving.

I'm very carefull with my gear (shifting) and I'm not strong rider. Is there a chance that Edco would last, let's say, 15k km? Of course, with chain change every 5k km or so.

You can buy Seq-Lite (another Taiwanese maker of lightweight CNC cassettes) from bdopcycling.com.
Full steel, 11-28T same ratio as Shimano, 185g, US$99.99

People have forgotten that wide ratio cassettes mean 3t jumps at the end. Triples used to avoid that.

Just buy the SRAM cassette and embrace the cadance changes. You'll adapt even if you initially don't like it. Otherwise MTB riders would not have adapted to a 10-50t cassette and don't tell me that cadance changes in the road are somehow different.

Again, no EU shop/dealer/seller, but with that price, even with import taxes would be significantly lower price than Edco. This may be just what I want. Thanks

Instead of 28 teeth in the end, let's put 27. Honestly, I'm surprised that no one offers this option. For my rides it would be ideal.

It doesn't really matter how many teeth one jump is.

What matters is the relative jump size.

28/25 is smaller than 18/16, 32/28 is smaller than 14/12.

If you want smaller jumps on one side of the block it will increase the jump size on the opposite side. Personally I kind of like the sram cassettes as they put the small steps where they are needed for me which is in a good chainline with the big chainring.

11-32 loses out on the 16t. The 11-28t loses out on the 32t.

I like both those gears but if it came down to choosing I'd pick 32t because I hate grinding. The 13% gap of going 17/15 or 15/17 can be overcome by stretching the cadence a bit. Upshift at 95-100rpm, and downshift at 85-90rpm.

Thanks, but there is no English version and all I see is Alu cassette. I will pass this, I think.
So far that Seqlite is best option, so if I can't find better option (EU shop or something like that) within few days I will probably order from them.

Of course. But I simply don't like that 25t to 28t jump. If I am on 25t rear it means that I am on 7-10% gradient.
It's already hard to maintain rhythm, and moment when I shift to 28t, well ... all rhythm is gone. It's necessary evil :D

I remember when I was about to switch from 9 speed to 11, I thought "Now I will have all sprocket that I need". Well, to my surprise, there is always some sprocket that is "missing".
