Got a warranty on my c2 tere frame and decided to upgrade a few things, including a switch to a Rere. The satin pearl white is fantastic, but looks difficult to keep clean.

Weight went up by half a kg to my tere.

Rebuild was done by lbs so I didn’t weigh anything. Will be doing some replacements and general lightening and filling in the blanks.

Make: Chapter 2
Model: Rere pearl white Ltd medium
Weight: 7.54kg

Very nice, got to see one of those at the launch earlier this year, it looks far better in person than any photograph can do justice to!

What happened to the Tere, if you don't mind me asking.

Crack developed at the front of the seatpost wedge slot. It was a first batch/preorder Tere that had the wedge replacements sent out.

I need to check this fit. The shop said as measured, the front (20mm + cap) is marginally lower than my Tere (10mm + cap), but the geo charts and calculators tell me it's higher. Unless the geo charts include the cap on the Rere, but don't on the Tere.

Adding weights to the top post...

That is the main saddle criteria IMHO

Many years ago I stopped trying to save weight on saddles or brakes :D

Nice build ! Congrats :beerchug:

I copped a bit of flak in my Tere build thread for keeping the saddle :P

But the shape works well for me and the CRB version only saves 50g for around $350aud...

I have the same tape, try not to get it wet, since it soaks through and after just one month the surface is separating from the bottom, and the tape no longer sticks...at least in my case anyway....will replace it with something else soon, which is a shame because it looks really great and is comfy too
