The white metal frame one
I had 165mm cranks before but now because of an old ultegra6800 power meter I have I run 172.5mm cranks on the tt bike. Optimal for my 82cm i seam I reckon is 167.5-170. Tt maybe 160-165 optimally.
Anyway. I will put my split nose seat a bit forward. Do you all go with the 5cm behind the crank rule or just set it any way you like?
I'm using an S5 frame for the TT bike but the seatpost comes with the two clamp positions to minimize/eliminate setback. I also run a short stem like 60mm (elbow rests are directly under my shoulders). Hardly optimal but seeing as TT is quite a rare thing it's not an easy investment to dump lots of money into a TT frame unless it also could be used as an aero race frame.

I have a 26". That one will defintely fit 700c plus guards. (a mate ran one as a winter road bike like that for several years.)
Added bonus is the early inbreds have a very short head tube.
Could also fit a shorter than stock fork (420 A/C maybe) to bring the angles back into something nearer a TT bike.
I actually did some digging and on smaller sizes (like i ride) it's actually pretty easy to get the stack and reach within striking distance of a tt bike.
Unfortunately, the bigger you get, the harder it is. Suitable MTBs seem to get taller a lot quicker than they get longer!
My inseam is the same as yours (32"/81cm.) and i'm swithcing to 165 on everything. Was a revelation compared the the 170/172.5/175s i've been running on road/cx/MTB.
