why is it all the major brands are introducing new bikes on the first two weeks in july. yes the tour is happening but the sheer avalanche of new products will limit spotlight.
marketing dept is failing. june release would guarantee some exclusivity.

what is coming july 6. new madone slr(new geometry) disk + rim brake version.
new specialized venge . cannondale aero ss. bmc aero. new giro accessories + eurobike madness.

My guess is that you probably won't acually see any of it for several months...(closer to 2019) Take Campag EPS 12 for example.. we'll probably see the odd splatter at the tour, but don't expect it in your hands til next year!

Well, strangely absent is Cervelo with the S5 Disc. Unless they really have it under the radar ready to drop the bomb, looks like they'll be late to the party.
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:

Almost all the reveals are July 2, FWIW. Everyone in the media hates that Eurobike is in July instead of late September. If past experience is anything to go by, only Trek will be shipping their new bike in July with everyone else pushing mid-September for availability. The bike industry just loves releasing new product before winter for some reason, a tactic that really only makes sense for the indoor trainer market.

this is PR failure. it seems the advertising for the cannondale aero bike is up even before the aero frame is lauched.

grabbed this from the cyclingtips website

it seems the did not bother to resize the downtube 'annondale'. f**** amateur hour. cannondale disaster. dorel needs to clean house. the trek madone slr is something special.
it will maintain best in class aero while addressing all the negatives of the first gen.

Can't find any pictures on the madone SLR - anyone got any - my interest is piqued.

Plenty of the disc team bike photos. Haven't seen any leaked of the rim version. It's looking like a huge improvement of the previous generation though.

Info is embargoed until the 7th for Trek

Yep had seen the disc madone photos. But othee than a handlebar and obvious brake changes it looks the same. Why is it a huge improvement - esp seeing the madone was widely regarded the best contempory aero bike?

Would love to see updated Aeroad, if it's coming this year.

Madone was already an ultimate racebike, so maybe you were talking about Venge?

visit your local trek dealer for sneak peak :)

they address the mediocre front end stiffness on the H2 oclv 600 frame. new one is 700. wide availibity vs h1 of last year. the new geometry. . iso speed on steroids. launches july 6.

Anyone got any knowledge of Canyon's plans? The Aeroad is from 2014 isn't it, must be time for an update...
