The new, much more conventional, design is a proof that all the effort, time and research invested on the previous design, all the claims about its novel tubes, its supreme performance, its 'clever' integration, its unique fairings etc. etc. were... for nothing.

What is the difference between this new Venge and the SL6 tarmac? Is it an integrated stem?

Looks like the only exposed cable is that small portion on the inside of the fork. Is that different than the current disc version?

The new venge isn’t that different from the old one, the biggest difference will be the weight i think

It looks very different in the pictures posted on this thread. It looks to have lost most of the swoops and tucks and various added aero contours in factor of a more straight forward design

Seem like they listen to complaints about all those unconventional design. It's telling that having to go through all that trouble they are still only a couple of watts faster than the S5 or an Aeroad but much heavier and harder to maintain. Standard stem and bar support and less finicky tube shape are a lot better for mechanic and riders. Probably not much less aero.

The new Venge looks like a winner to me. The previous version was downright ugly and heavy.

Looks like they used similar headtube routing design as BMC SLR01 Disc. Finger crossed for standard stem and bar support.

Very clever Di2 integration in the seatpost. Liking this much more than bar-end. Except for all the road gunk it will get there.
