Wow! Loved the last Trek build, glad to see there's a new one .
The current crank looks good, but seeing as the BB is threaded, a Record Titanium crank would look awesome on this.

This does indeed look super. Nicely done. The Campy on Trek thing always does it for me.
If yes, that would look excellent on this build and as the OP is using a standard chainring ratio, there would be no difference in gears.
I don't recall a Campy crankset branded with 'Titanium'. Do you mean a Record alloy square taper crankset?

I suppose the crank wasn't titanium itself, but it came with the 9 (and possibly early 10) speed Record 'titanium' groupsets.Stolichnaya wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 4:15 pmI don't recall a Campy crankset branded with 'Titanium'. Do you mean a Record alloy square taper crankset?

Here's a pic:
And as modelled by Marco Pantani's Bianchi-Mercatone team bike:
Much nicer than the current crop of silver Campagnolo cranksets I think.
He’s back! Better than ever. Great job on that makeover. How did the carbolift experience go?

Thanks guys!
Carbolift is great! It works best of course if you follow the instructions (one friend didn't - he left the coating on for too long and know his frame is not usable anymore). At the end I only needed to do some minor wet sanding to prepare it for clear coat.

Looks awesome - really like the boras with the frame. Also white saddle and bar tape is a good choice and looks nicely europro (especially with the deda bars). Whilst a square taper chainset would be age appropriate to the frame, they are too expensive NOS.
I love my nude madone with campag but I am tempted to switch to sram red

If you meant headeset - I totally agree with you!

Yes - black headset looks much better than my silver Chris King.
Maybe I'll put on a Cane Creek headset. Because of the shape of the cups.
Way to go! Good to see you’re back on a classic Madone. I really have no remarks except the logo...I might do another one on the top tube or something but not sure.
Who bought the other Madone? You still riding a decent amount?

Thank you
To be honest I was even thinking doing it without logo
The other Madone bought the guy who also bought the C50 from me. He is from UK.
No, not really. I rode it 5 times in 10 days. All together 150 km
Are you planning to change anything on your Madone? Or do another Madone?
