Looking for a new wind vest for Nor Cal climate and prefer packable and stretch fabric that hugs body well. Really like the looks of the Velocio wind vest but not the $$$ https://velocio.cc/collections/mens/pro ... 8559774790

Anyone have a suggestion for something similar?

£55 and extra 15% off
https://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/pro-tea ... PLW03XXYEL

I switched to jacket version myself though. £64 and 15% off

Sales nearly over so not many sizes left. Will be returns though so you can check the archive section for those shortly. 15% code is from new customer sign up.

Sfo, this vest was tested in NorCal and SoCal. It has every feature you would ever want in a wind vest. It's packable, it's practical (allows for easy access to your jersey pockets) and it's functional (perfect for California's variable weather conditions).

I didn't realize people still get a newspaper delivered? I'll have to go scrounge in some neighbors recycle bins.

Seems like the big questions aside from style and price are 1) Pockets/no pockets? 2) Water proof? 3) Insulation?

I've had some issue with cheaper PI Elite level and Craft vests not breathing enough, making their temp range rather narrow.

Assos has 3.

Blitzfeder or Blitzshell vest. Former is the outgoing model. Both really lightweight and packable Wind proof shells.

MilleGT Gilet - Sping/Fall insulated RX fleecy fabric.

Equipe RS Gilet - Technical Race cut Gilet with insulated front, more open weave rear complete with pockets. Great over a long sleeve baselayer.

While I do not own the current iteration, if rear pockets are a requirement, then my vote would be on the Hincapie Arenberg Zero Vest.
