Please do not put the Bontrager barstem on there. That'll make it even less classy. :(

Beautiful bike!
do you have issues with shifting on the older style shifters?
The Journey is more important than the Destination!

regarding the bars, these look amazing, so frustrating that they don't come with longer stems
Some people love them, some not so much ....

I run a -12 degree stem on my SV. So perfect! Not too many brands make the -12 though. Mainly extralite.

Looks good, what stem is that ? . Have you considered a black stem ?

I tried a Deda Elementi Zero 100 -8 stem, it does not match the TT angle so I will need a -10 or -12 stem if I want that line to flow.

I may have a way to make stem angle on the Bontrager bar / stem combo adjustable, if it works it will help the look of this XXX integrated bar / stem

I switched out my -6 Extralite for a -12 on my Evo and love how it looks and not a huge difference in position....win win!

Nope no issues at all, newer Campy parts mix very well.

That's an Extralite stem that had the paint removed... My good friend (davidw) loaned it to me to test the 110 -12 degree, and then he gifted it to me. I always have something quirky about my bikes, and a polished Extralite stem happens to be the weirdo. I would like to paint match it to the frame, but the color is a Speedvagen mix only they have.

Looks stunning!! I can't get my head around the seatmast cap bolt not being centered though.

-12 degree looks right..... and here I was thinking the something quirky was your headset color...... its ez enuf to get your stem paint matched to your frame if you like.

.... -10 degrees might be the aesthetic sweet spot you are seeking. Jump on the Speedvagen flickr page and you will see that most of their recent builds of the last few years are using the PRO PLT -10 degree stem.

Beautiful. I would just change stem and keep original fork.
