Dude, TMI!!! Also, ouch!
Mom: He was very sickly until he started riding around on that bicycle.
Dad: Yeah... well... now his body’s fine, but his mind is gone.

Should have gone for silver spokes, but otherwise perfect wheels. Agree about the aesthetics of the wheels and frame but it is hard to beat the ride quality of handbuilt Nemesis rims on great hubs. If you don't get it, you really need to try some.

It's not about how good the wheels are, it's about how 'suitable' it is for the build. These wheels certainly shouldn't go up on a TT rig, and impo they don't match a frame with beefy aero-optimised tubes.

If you don't like those wheels then you just don't get it.

Read my post again, I didn't say these wheels ain't good (tbh I've no idea cos I don't own them), I said it's not a good pairing with this frame. Light builds should have light wheels, aero bikes should have deeper wheels etc. Love all of other Bely's builds and it isn't hard to 'fix' this, but if he enjoys it like this then that's fine as well.

Omg! Probably one of the nicest bike I have ever seen. Such a nice blend of new and old. Fantatastic!

Lovely wheels yes, but they can't do a beautiful aero frame like this justice. It's goofy. Aero frames need the deep sections or the proportions are odd. When you look at the frame you think wow. When you look at the wheels, you think wow. When you look at it all together you think, no.

This build has the potential to be one of the best in 2017. Can't wait to see it done justice.

Did you build the wheelset around the frameset, or the frameset around the wheelset?

Awesome choice of bike and wheelset. Would make for an amazing ride I would imagine.

The wheels were the only set "free" and not attached to an existing bike.
