I managed to get a quick trip back to Pau in over the weekend:
The climb to Luz Ardiden - Autumn in the mountains is always special
Looking back down on Luz St Sauveur - still a lot of evidence of the flooding from earlier in the summer
Went out yesterday morning with my old club - this is in the hills above Lourdes
A col is a col is a col - even if it is only 575m
This ride was around Torch Lake. Has a good mix of rollers and small climbs. Rollers probably average 3-6% and there are a few that get up to ~9%.
Few from me
Took my new CX on the Ridgeway national trail and dodged a few heavy showers, Oxfordshire
160km sportive in the New Forest, Hampshire a few weeks back
Accidentally spoiling my riding buddies photo (hahaha)
@53x12 Those pics remind me of my old stomping grounds in Upstate NY......makes me wish I appreciated the surroundings more when I was there.

Yeah, it does look a little like Upstate NY. However, I think Upstate NY has better climbs as northern MI the 'hills' top out around 1,000-1,500ft. I would love to ride in the Adirondacks sometime. Some cool scenery there.
