A light bike doesn't replace good fitness.

I live in SE USA. It's brutal. After 30-40 minutes I have to stop. Unfortunately the best time for me to ride is around 12-1PM. I thought I'd start acclimating, but I'm not. Do I have to go back to the trainer until things cool down?

After 14 years living in Australia I still haven't got used to the heat when riding.
I just don't bother going out, as within 30mins I'm cooked. Literally no energy left at all.

Unfortunately when the TDU comes to Adelaide its always around 40+c. I drive close to where they will be and ride 10km to them and back to the ute.

Best to go on the trainer rather than struggling in the heat. Unfortunately again for me my trainer is outside under my Pergola so its still to hot.

If you can get out very early then that might be best.
