If you're reading this you either know what this is or are curious.

Add torn retina repair to the vitrectomy.

How soon afterwards did you return to road riding? Any sort of info like that or along those lines would be a big help to me.

I've been riding a trainer etc but...

Thanks, Rick

P.S. I don't have words to describe whats its like to get an eye back so I will not.

The only tip I can recommend is don't piss off the nurse when you arrive. If they tell you that you are not on the schedule [but you got a card and took the day off]. Just appologise for wasting their time and make another appointment. Otherwise, the doctor will make certain you'll remember the day forever.

I had it done on Friday and was back to work on Monday. I suspect at least a week or two before I got on the bike.

Thanks for the tip. My rule of thumb is never piss off dentists or nurses. They knocked me out for the procedure so fo all I know they put a chip of some sort in there. Everyone was real nice though.

Was a nitrous oxide bubble in your eye?
