Hi All,

Yes, my headunit is kind of old, but like everyone I don't use all of the functions on this one!

Recently I have been following a training plan, and programming in the workouts into the Garmin. So far, so good. However, if I am doing them on the road, there are times when I need to interupt the workout because the road ahead wont allow me to do the set (for example, there is road works on your route and temporary traffic light causing queued traffic. With no clear road, doing 1 minute at 400 watts is probably silly). Is it possible to interupt the workout (pausing it) but continuing to record the ride?

Thanks for your superior knowledge.

RTW.

Use the lap button for your intervals?
You can always edit or merge them later on your pc.

I think the best you can do is to pause the workouts on screen (if memory serves, you have to tap the screen to do this - none of the buttons will bring up the menu).

Don't knock on the 810! It really turned out to be a good GPS unit. I wish I still had mine!
