Quick question for you WWs out there. How can I tell what version a Pioneer PM is? For example, I can tell with Stages just by looking at the design of the label.

I've seen some Pioneer PMs for sale, but I'd like to know what I'm buying for shelling out any cash.

I'll admit I haven't done the research yet to figure what, if any, significant differences there are, but it won't do me any good if I can't verify what I'm buying.

Thanks.

Thanks TonyM, I did find out the newest generation has Bluetooth so at least the newest version is easy to identify.

And don't forget that (up to 2017/2018) you needed the Pioneer bike computer (or a friendly retailer with the Pioneer bike computer that you are able to use at their shop) to make the firmware updates. I am not sure if Pioneer has meanwhile enable other ways to make an update of the firmware. You may want to check with them directly if this is still the case.
